Well, I'm hoping that not all these missing players have permanently dropped out.

When the time comes for the next round pairings, if there is an odd number of players, I'll first see if anyone would like a "bye" for that round. If not, probably the person most out of contention will be chosen for a bye. It's way too early to worry about that yet.

So you'll consider a bye for a bye-bye, by and by?

Got it.

I think I need more coffee first to keep this stuff straight. Or maybe I should eat lunch.

It's soccer deprivation, really.

Well admitedly it might not be obvious.

First there was the Dead Thread.

Then we made started a tournament exclusively for Dead Thread participants.

So, how do you feel about the death of our child? :'( I know I should have rescued it, but the temptation was too strong. 😳 I expected its fathers to come to its help, though.

I don't think thread have real mothers of fathers. They only have foster parents.

Now you are being unfair. We took the thread away from Het Blumper because he neglected it, but he did give birth to it.

Are all forms of creation "giving birth"?

Typical socialists... they think they know better than the parents, and try to take away the children and raise them as wards of the state.
