Originally posted by no1marauderExcuse me if I am wrong, but didn't you say in a thread in the Chess Forum that the game mods were doing nothing? Then here you say they were keeping up? So which is it? It can't be both ways.
The "process" of selecting Game Mods was YOU did it. Votes were taken, but you felt free to and did disregard the votes if you saw fit to.
What part of the reporting of suspects was a problem? Plenty of suspects were reported from what I understand and Gate has said the Game Mods were able to keep up with the workload. Perhaps rather ...[text shortened]... iewing and validating the determinations of the Game Mod team (excuse me; ex-Game Mod team).

Does it mean that you have right to complain only about person you have been played? 🙄

I think I'm one of the few people on the site who really enjoys the fact that no1marauder's here.
I'm far from convinced that this is it though. I can't really see the difference between the old system, where you reported a suspected cheat to the game mods and then you never heard from them again, and the new system, where you report a suspected cheat via an online form, and then never hear any more about it.
A but more information about what happens after the form is submitted wouldn't go amiss. I can't help thinking that it will just be the really blatant cheats who get booted (i.e. those who are clearly beginners for several games and then show rapid improvement to 2000+) and the more sophisticated cheats (i.e. experienced and maybe even pretty strong players) who don't follow the engine moves 100% will get away scott free.

Talking about blatant and not so blatant cheats - if even some blatant cheats are still not banned, how can we expect to be banned cheats which are more sophisticated? 😕
