Play was very simular to MGS2 yet still kept the story line intact. Codec cuts were the same as the PS1 game though. I would give it high marks.

I have to agree with you on the GC platform. I was let down when shopping for games for it as I had the PS2 games that I liked already. Why buy 2 games on 2 formats. Not to mention my PS2 is also a CD player, DVD player and plays both PS1 and2. More machine for the money.
