Chet Baker. I've learned to appreciate the singing. Not much of fan when he played with strings. But that horn playing..my oh my.

They really need to make a movie of his life.

That's interesting. I really liked his singing from the first time I heard him. I've known a number of people who don't like his singing, but never one who switched sides.

Have you seen "Let's Get Lost"?

I have not. Is it about Baker?

When I first heard him I was wondering why this guy was singing..he's a horn player. I was just a little pompous about it and wasn't listening.

It's a good one. Covers quite a bit of territory: some "groove" oriented pieces, some beautifully played ballads, some abstract timbre oriented pieces, and quite a bit of extended technique and humor.
