To Sir With Love - The Cast of Glee

* I know it's getting a bit crazy, all the Glee hype, but I do really like a number of these songs. Especially the soft ones. I think most of the "big" numbers are a bit over-done, but I do love most of the ones with heart.

Metallica - Nothing Else Matters

never met the current line-up, but I did meet Dave Mustaine once. He came to an event we ran for the homeless. Guy had zero performer ego....and even felt embarrassed to be there...like the folks helping the homeless were the cool folks and he was just a loser.

I was pretty impressed... dude was completely down to earth and totally humble.

Most of the industry guys I met were like that. My old girlfriend's brother was on the Max's Kansas City scene in the mid-70's, a friend of David Byrne.....all those guys really about trying to create the music, not on some big ego trip. I guess there are some jerks out there, but most of the dudes I met were very cool.

Wisdom Guide me by Eileen McGann. A great singer/songwriter from Canada. That is one great song. And she has a great voice! She has a half dozen CD's out, the one with that song is on "Beyond the storm" which received a Juno award nomination.
