Of course ,I have no doubt that it may actually be a solid majority of Americans who do so, but there are plenty of married persons that simply only copulate.

Masturbation is extremely common. More than half of women under 60 and over 70 percent of men under 60 report “self-servicing” at least semi-regularly. So why does the perennial debate and confusion on the subject? Recent research asks some compelling questions, such as whether masturbation is ever unhealthy, what the benefits and consequences of porn are, what masturbation means in the context of a relationship or marriage (as well as whether that answer could vary based on gender), and more.

I did absolutely 0 research into the 98% figure.
Indeed, one could say I was bored inbetween tissues and squirted some nonsense over the forum.

Little did I know that pulling such a stunt would end up with such a sticky mess about figures.
Probably best to let this thread dry up. It’s easier to clean that way.
