Are you saying people should delay having abortions?
Given that pregnancy affects the pregnant woman's immune system there is clear cause under section 1c of Abortion Act 1967 (UK) to proceed with an abortion [1]. The normal grounds for abortion in the UK are under section 1a. I realize that US law is different, however, being pregnant involves immunocompromise for the the woman and so you are on lethal territory pursuing this argument at this time.
