@deepthought saidSo you think spelling is linked to intelligence? But to be fair, half the time it is just this stupid phone. I only communicate here on my phone.
If you're going to say things like that you might want to consider switching your spell checker on first.

Is this anecdotal? There's several possibilities beyond immunity failure. The first is that the initial infection was in fact influenza, they're pretty similar, and unless the individual was tested both times one of the infections could be misidentified as covid-19. The second possibility is that they were, in fact, only infected once and appeared to recover but the di ...[text shortened]... ficult to shake off.
I haven't heard of reinfections, but haven't checked the medical literature.

I have no idea what to make of it.
@eladar saidI’m just checking with you...
It is not my belief. I am just explaining what that would mean about vaccines.
Clearly antibodies have saved the lives of millions of infected people. Do you agree?
@kevcvs57 saidThere have been cases of people catching this virus infection a second time, after recovering from the first. Not being a virologist, I'm not sure if this is because it's humanity's first time on the pole for this one, or what. This is why research is required. We don't know enough about this one yet.
is there any evidence that antibodies don’t work and do you not think that will become evident from a vaccine trial

@eladar saidBecause of for-profit charter schools, the American education system is the one in the toilet.
The European Education system seems to be a bit limited. In the US we are required to take classes in many fields. So what is common knowledge to those who retain knowledge is unknown to you.
Here, educate yourself.

@eladar saidAgain, until we know more about this specific virus, you cannot make this statement with any certainty, at least not if you're as intellectually challenged as Donald Trump.
I was not the one that brought up that people who had this are getting sick again. That was shav. I was just pointing out that if this is true then vaccines could not work either.

@suzianne saidI heard about this happening early in the pandemic but they were not sure if it was a case of missing the continued presence of the virus in the original test. Other options could be pre compromised immune systems or rapidly developing variants which would make the development of a vaccine a lot more complicated.

But there’s no reason to believe that this particular corona virus can circumvent the anti body defence mechanism once its been initiated.
Again if it can then the vaccine trials would surely bring that to light.
