Honestly, why a bike, why not a bed, tree or cupboard
Is this man mentally unstable or just very lonely.... ?

One of the many follies of socialism is a hysterical notion that tends to build over time that EVERY "situation" requires both discussion and intervention. What, someone was "shocked" by something someone else did? Should society stand for this? Of course not.
Pretty soon people are asking questions like, Was it posted that this sort of behavior was unacceptable in this hostel? Did the cleaners receive proper training on how to react to such crisis situations? Were other guests warned of the possibility that such perversions occurring within mere metres of them?
THIS is the true legacy of the British socialist model. A nation of shopkeepers become a nation of busibodies perpetually "shocked" by one another's behavior, and demanding signs prohibiting same.
A melon?
A sock???

How do cleaners get the 'right' to open your door with a master key?
