Everything is relative. You made more than you ever have, and maybe a guy working for Apple got a raise and he can say the same thing.
So did I. NASDAQ (capital letters out of respect and adoration!!) was up in 2023 by 43%. Forty Three percent. So if I happened to be in that market at $100,000 on Jan 1 2023, I made $43,000.
The Nasdaq climbed 43% in 2023, one of its best performances in two decades.
So, all over the board people who work and people who invest make money in different categories, some more, some less. It is all relative. On the other hand, the good economy numbers do not coincide with inflation numbers. That pesky inflation won't hurt the guy who made 43% in his sleep, but it will hurt the guy at Apple who got a raise.
You are aware that the average family is suffering??? Try to tell them about the good economy, and how far your increase in income went. I am speaking on average, of course. When someone refers to someone as 'your' on the Forum, it is generally referring to the average person of that category.
Some of the posts on the Forum connect it all up to Biden, but Thousand, they fail to mention the downside

Profits are the difference between what something costs to produce (good or service) and the value that good or service is to another person. This is a good thing, and sometimes the producers get it wrong and suffer negative profit.
The only time it all gets stunk up is when goobermint force becomes involved as per recent example with the clotshot. The greatest transfer of wealth from the little man to mega billion dollar drug corporations through the force of the state the world has ever seen, and we saw suziman bragging up about how much juice she took, more money for multi billion dollar drug Co.s.
