Under Biden, the U.S. doubled it's military presence in Taiwan...and that was in 2021, during his first year in office.

At the same time, The U.S. basically stole a deal with Australia from France to build war ships, to bolster American military presence in the South Pacific, as a counter to China:

https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2021/9/16/france-accuses-biden-of-sinking-australia-submarine-deal

And now this. It legitimately seems like Biden has been plotting a war with China.

Yeah, Biden needs to go. The next step could very well be a Chinese alliance with Russia against the US. And that would be a nightmare America brought on itself.

@AverageJoe1. Early vote in Georgia is already up 20% over last year. This kills everyone knocking voter suppression in Georgia. The Dem Hoax Exposed! The Bill actually made it 'easier to vote, harder to cheat'. The dem candidate for governor, (the Abrams person), said today that Ga is "the worst state to live in". I may be proved wrong, having predicted she will win. Her saying that does her in!! Thankyou Jesus.
Apologies for going off-issue. Had to get it out there. Imagine. Running for governor and saying that. You fellers do put on a show.

Well let's see what party has voted the most, my guess is repubs overwhelm dems because they CAN'T vote in strong numbers.
Nice try but no cigar.

I don't know what this means, either. Are there no black republicans? You are a confusing lot. And yes, if I did not make it clear, the Governor General election is in November. Who knew!!??!?!? Whew.

Are you kidding me? you don’t think that’s already happening?
I don’t know how democratic Taiwan is but I’m willing to bet it’s more democratic than China. China already declared its limitless friendship with Russia when the two autocrats met at the Olympic Games in Beijing. This thing is bigger than Taiwan or Ukraine and I do not mind a POTUS who leaves no doubt about whose side the US is on, I certainly prefer Biden’s approach to the ditherer in chief who preceded him.
Having said that the words Biden used could be used to describe of lot of things short of head to head conflict with China and if not it’s best that China makes an informed choice regarding wether or not to invade Taiwan.

Unlike Russia and Ukraine, China has a legal claim to Taiwan. China "invading" Taiwan could be seen as the U.S. "invading" Hawaii.

This is a great comment. It does imply that Taiwan is pretty much under an established measure of control by China, which I don't understand, very confusing, bur a great analogy.

You're so cheap and lazy.

I'd take a conservative black woman for POTUS any day over Spongebrain soiled pants or his moron sidekick Kamala. Try harder.
Could you forward a list of potentials?

Yes they do have a legal right, it is one country in essence but do they have the moral right to force the Taiwanese people into an authoritarian undemocratic state to appease the vanity of CCP.
There are a lot of federal arrangements they could explore short of total absorption but the people of Taiwan would need some sort of legally binding arrangement that would spare them from becoming the next Hong Kong. At the end of the day if the Taiwanese are determined to fight it would be disastrous for the global economy and it would make the Ukraine conflict look like a nothing burger domestic.

That, unfortunately, is irrelevant. "Morally" speaking, most U.S. land belongs to Native Americans.

Yes but most of them aren’t there anymore morality is about how actions impact on actual people not how they might have impacted on people who no longer exist in the kind numbers they may have had the immoral act not taken place.
I wouldn’t advise taking the morality meter out of the argument it could lead to us creating dystopia a lot quicker than we otherwise might.
But by all means give the native Americans their land back.
It seems a strange argument that once one immoral act has taken place then there is, in effect, no morality. It’s the same argument some have used to defend Russia’s right to invade Ukraine because the west invaded Iraq.
I just do not accept the validity of that argument. The people of Taiwan have every right to fight for their freedom from communist rule by the CCP and everyone who chooses to has the right to assist them in that fight.
