Instead of bashing others you should realize you do the exact same thing: you don't pay tax on appreciation on your house.
Rich people pay the bulk of our taxes. It is people who have no assets but tap into our medicaid and welfare systems that burden our economy. Instead of being jealous of our biggest contributors perhaps you should recognize that the rich are the ones who literally pay for virtually everything.
I think that they want to kill all the rich people. Like I want to kill all the leaf blowers. They don't know that they cannot get along without the rich people. I am not trying to be funny here.
My comment goes further, to wonder, in the farthest reaches of their minds, why do they dwell on rich people ? Should they not be thanking the rich people for all that they do, none the least of which is pay so much money to the government?

The city reassesses the value of my property every year and charges me more money in property taxes. If Musk can skate by on his unrealized gains tax, the unrealized gains on my property are being taxed every single year.
