@sonhouse saidYou, every day, find that Biden does nothing wrong, when we all know that Biden is very wrong, just starting with the border. Just the border. Do you know that it has been determined this week to be the major issue in the election? They should’ve just asked me a year ago.
@AverageJoe1
So if you think nobody is above the law, why do you keep acting like Trump did nothing wrong?
Whataboutisms are easily useful when talking about comparing Trump to the mafia boss Biden. And frankly, I get what you say about documents, both of the presidents, being guilty of the same thing. So why in the hell keep riding about it? And if you make a big deal out of how long something took to be turned over, or whatever, I can do it, too. For instance, it sure is taking a long time to sign a paper that would stop the border crossings. And has Biden lied to American people? Of course he has, isn’t it boring to write about Trump and Biden trading all these silly punches. So, tell us what you’re gonna do in November that would be interesting fodder.
@AverageJoe1
Funny that the mistakes and messes that Trump hasfound himself in have not really hurt anybody. Even the silly judgment of $350 million did not find that anyone was hurt by it. Sunhouse,… Many people are being hurt, and more people are dying with fentanyl because of Biden. He will see the news, look at the number of death by fentanyl, knowing he could fix it, and he goes and sits on the beach. Does he do that little hop skip when he goes to the beach, or just when he is getting on a platform? It looks so gay. I wonder why he does that.
@AverageJoe1
New idea for a thread. Which of the two presidents actions have caused more harm and sadness and death?
@AverageJoe1
You really think the docs Biden took were equal to the crimes of Trump? I don't know if you know what went down with Biden but what he took was his OWN DIARY of his time in office, not QUITE the same thing as literally stealing hundreds of TS docs and LITERALLY refusing to turn them back till DOJ was forced to get a warrant and take them back.
The fact you equate the two shows quite clearly you speak with double tongue to use a Native American phrase.
They are NOT the same, not even close and the anti democracy forces alive in the US today WANT chaos, they side with Putin and you right wingers think that is ok.
Ronald Reagan would turn over in his grave if he saw how far the republican party has gone to hell in the past ten years 100% because of Trump.
Do you for instance, deny the fact repubs state publicly there is no policy in the republican party, instead ONLY after power and more power using whatever illegal device they can because they know people don't want to vote for asssholes who think frozen embryos are children and want to even stop women from using contraceptives, that is how far the republicans have fallen, they WANT a dictatorship and will stop at nothing till they get it because they could care less what the majority of voters want they could give a rats ass about that, THEY are the ones they think knows how to run a country which is the OPPOSITE of democracy, they want minority rule and the lower the number in that minority the better they will like it.
So prove me wrong, show me the bills repubs have authored helping common folk then tell me why Biden is doing so terribly in the bills HE authored like getting the price of insulin down to 35 bucks when it was 400, a price with ONLY greed as the driver or the infrastructure bill or the Chips bill or the inflation reduction act and BTW, jobs marked up more than twice what they thought and inflation is down under 4% and the stock market is in record territory and OF COURSE for you Biden did NOTHING to help that, it all happened by itself no help needed by Biden and maybe you can explain why the Trump years led to the biggest increase in the national debt EVER up to that point in time.
THAT was the direct result of the Trump tax cut, IRS loses a couple TRILLION dollars in revenue and where do you think they made up that difference? BORROWING FROM CHINA is where. So prove me wrong about THAT too.
So run with your last post, which POTUS did the most harm to the US.
And of course YOU will totally ignore the fact historians have already put Trump in DEAD LAST, worse than Hoover and that says a lot right there, the dude who singlehandedly caused the great depression in 29, now approaching a century ago.
Why don't you also ask folks here if Jan 6 was an insurrection or not. You seem to fall over and play dead, puking out the puke given by the ultrarightwingnuts trying to rewrite history like saying there were NO WEAPONS which is BULLSHYTE, there were people arrested with loaded weapons on them but you all want to ignore that FACT AND there was a carload of molotov cocktails ready to go if Trump had said go for it AND a hotel room LOADED with assault rifles and thousands of rounds of ammo, ready to go if Trump said go for it.
@sonhouse saidWow. Yes, there are many many opinions on the document capers. To me, they mean nothing, as no one was hurt by it, and Trump has never heard anybody. But Biden has hurt someone big time. So that out-of-the-way, do you think people were better off when Trump was president or when Biden is president? if you mention Covid, I just probably will stop reading your post Which president made our country better? Can you limit your response to maybe only 30 paragraphs? And no repeats of all the stuff you’ve been writing for 11 years. Were you better off thin, or are you better off now.

@wajoma saidSonhouse has never looked up the def of insurrection....worse, is his failure to recognize that minds smarter that ours, who may hate Trump as much as does Sonhouse, have appaently found no insurrection. Wastes our time reading it, and boring.
It was not.
Sonhouse, did Biden lie when he and his lieutenants (all as bad as Trump's troublesome lieutenants) lied that the border was closed all these years?? That is a simple question, the answer is yes, but you will not answer yes. You will stay on that sme boring railroad track to nowhere, and try to take us with you. I do not have a ticket.
@wajoma saidLol did you help John Lennon write the lyrics to imagine?
ANALOGY FAIL, ANALOGY FAIL, ANALOGY FAIL

What a bogus pretend world you describe. The minimum wage was passed 90 years ago with the rest of the new deal legislation in order to set limits on the expansive overreach of government in our lives. Currently the rate is set too low. We know that because we taxpayers are paying for Amazon employees groceries. Raise it and government shrinks.
You write hopeless idealist garbage. Imagine all the people, living life without ... Gooberment thugs? Then you go and sleep with Yoko?
@averagejoe1 saidDude you started a thread about the minimum wage. Did you think there'd be no mention of government?
But with a skewed understanding, or a non-understanding, of how capitalism works, they have difficulty writing a sensible post on the matter.
Note I have mentioned that more than once here, and they do not take my point head-on. That is because they have a deep-seated natural leaning towards believing that it all ends up with govt in the end. Their goal.
Build a road, set a speed limit. The employee -employer relationship can't work in a vacuum, unless you advocate for anarchy.
Or you like big government?
@AverageJoe1
You really know a lot about national security. It didn't occur to you there are names on some of the docs, names of assets overseas and if the wrong hands found those names there WILL be deaths but no biggie, nobody was hurt, tell me, what do you think the Russians will do with the doc Trump read to that Aussie billionaire as to how close our subs can get to a Russian sub without detection? Does national security mean so little now because Trump stole a bunch, now national security is no big deal? So I served 4 years in the military with a top secret clearance all for nothing.
@wildgrass saidThere are countries without a min wage, they are not in anarchy, I have named a few, but here you go again with the same old BS i.e. artificial price controls prevent anarchy.

Any intrusion by goobermint into the market equals an increase in the size and scope of goobermint, the greater the intrusion the more goobermint that is required to force it. Another thoroughly debunked line you repeat over and over.
The impossibility of the central planners to set a rate that covers every individual and every circumstance. There is no legitimate so called minimum rate, the cost of living can differ from county to county let alone state to state. The minimum rate needs to reflect this, no goobermint buratcracy is capable of reacting to the everyday changing market. It differs from person to person, the only person that knows what an hour of their time is worth is that person themself.
You avoid the legitimate point that some people are worth less than the goobermint minimum, you have no right to stop them from providing for themselves through their own productive effort, you have no right to turn them into literal parasites.
The goobermint has caused the distortion of the market through providing assistance to low paid work, not only subsidizing low payers but corrupting and creating dependencies in otherwise self sufficient good people. The solution is to roll that assistance back. Here's an analogy that does work, getting people hooked on welfare is like getting people hooked on heroin. Getting them off drugs/welfare causes discomfort, but the discomfort is not caused by the cure, the discomfort is caused by the addiction.
You're a drug pusher that pushes dependency not on drugs but on goobermint,

No this is dumb. The size of government is defined by spending. Anything to reduce spending is reducing size. Scope? We already have a minimum wage, so setting it to match poverty is not changing scope at all.
I'll respond to your other stuff later, but suffice to say that if we had wajoma for president and 100 wajomas in the Senate then it would still not be enough to do away with federal assistance programs. We just went through a period with an extremely conservative president and conservative majorities in both houses but they grew government at a faster rate than under Obama. They kicked out the only guy who tried to shrink benefits programs, and all he was asking for was a small increase in the retirement age.
It ain't happening in any perceivable future. So we have minimum wage instead.

You do yah do, you don't ya don't, no need to put us on notice, no-one cares.
The other funny one was wildgrass defining the size of goobermint by the amount they spend. Wrong, you could have a totalitarian goobermint controlling every aspect of your life that does not spend a cent on welfare.
And again and again this one "setting it to match poverty' again and again wildgrass glosses over the wildly differing costs of living and therefore the supposed poverty line that can differ in a state from county to county and even from one side of a city to the other. That is why the min is so low, because even advocates for it realise the futility of the 'one size fits' all dreamworld inhabited by wildgrass.
So no, you wont be responding to the 'other stuff' later because you haven't responded to anything yet.
@wajoma saidTap out wajoma.

Size of government is measured by spending. You just changed the definition of a universally accepted term and then pretended to win an argument.
Get outta here. Tap out. Throw in the towel. You big goobermint stooge.
