Maybe you remember, but most likely do not, that the republican party was previously known as the party of law and order.

You mean what used to be called the republican party is NOT run by Trump now? Trump ruined the formerly called law and order party.
Because Trump is literally above the law, the top dog in the republican party has convictions on his record totally ignored by the present Trumplican party so it is definitely not the same party as before, when the top dog is literally above the law, that taints the entire apparatus with his stain.

No one ever "needs" to apologize to Trump.

He is what he is, and he's not changing. Any apology designed to "smooth over" anything, he'll just see as a sign of weakness. He's a world-class con man and ass hole, if anyone needs to apologize, it's him.

It is interesting to note that since Trump’s win there are moves to deescalate in the Middle East and Zelenskyy did an exclusive with Sky News yesterday taking about the possible parameters of a ceasefire.

Perhaps if you were able to pull your partisan head out your echo-chamber arse once in a while you might be able to see the world landscape a little better.
