With threats to invade Tiwan and India, is it safe to say that China is looking to show its military power?

Will the US support these countries against China like the US supported Hungary when Russia invaded?

I don't know if a war with Taiwan would technically be considered an "invasion". But with India? What makes you think a war is brewing? Link?

I doubt China wants to "flex" it's military power. Usually weaker nations like North Korea feel the need to do so.

War with Taiwan might not be considered an "invasion"; Taiwan qualifies as a Chinese territory.

When Biden was VP, Obama stayed out of going to war with Russia over Ukraine; Biden would do well to follow that. But again, China taking military action against Taiwan might even qualify as an "invasion".

Either way, the U.S. has stuck it's nose in enough wars. It doesn't need to get into another one.

China and India are always squabbling about small bits of territory on their border up in the Himalayas

So you are saying that Taiwan has not functioned under its own government since the time China was taken over by the Commists? Or did the UK give Taiwan back to China?

I am not sure why you would not call China invading Tiwan anything other than an invasion.

As for India, both India and China are amassing troops at the border.

Yes; but that doesn't mean war is now on the Horizon. North and South Korea are also constantly squabbling; doesn't mean war is imminent.

I highly doubt China wants war with India. Taiwan, could offer little resistance, but India would be a very different matter altogether.

I agree that Taiwan has absolutely functioned as it's own government; but there is also legal precedent for China to claim Taiwan.

As for India, both India and China are amassing troops at the border.

Link?

Not a major war but China under Mao ambushed a Soviet Army patrol for similar border disagreements

India lost a border war to China in 1962. Indian nationalists have craved revenge ever since.

For further reading:
_India's China War_ by Neville Maxwell

Having many Indian friends, Neville Maxwell initially assumed that India was completely right.
As he did research (using mainly Indian sources), he did a 180 degree turn and
concluded that India was about completely wrong. China did NOT want war with
India but felt compelled to act because of India's unilateral occupation and military
fortification of disputed territory along the border.
