Is this the basis for refreshment?
Sorry, you are right.

Going okay so far ... although California looks to be going Clinton's way.

If he can stay within 100 delegates I think he can do it.

according to this:

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2008/president/delegate_counts.html

excluding superdelegates, clinton only has 1 more delegate overall than obama.

Hmmm - interesting leftfield idea... "The Democratic nomination may be determined by the delegation from Puerto Rico."

Just out of curiousity, what has he done to 'deserve it'?

I think for some people, it is more of a case of "What had Billary done to not deserve it".

Quite honestly, Obama has done a lot, look at his history.
Obviously being the wife of a president gives Hillary a lot of visibility and she was a household name before her campaign even started.
You could also ask the question, what has Hillary done?
We all know her name, but what has she done?
She's spent a lot of time in Washington, but has she accomplished anything?

As the Senator with the most liberal voting record for 2007, I'm sure he has done alot...with the American taxpayers money.

I should have asked.. what has he done contructive during his time in the US Senate...

Have a look at the section 'senate career' on this page:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barack_Obama#109th_Congress

I find it so funny the way Americans use the term 'liberal' as a term of abuse.

I like this, from the WW:

Santos: It's true. Republicans have tried to turn liberal into a bad word. Well, liberals ended slavery in this country.

Vinick: A Republican President ended slavery.

Santos: Yes, a liberal Republican; what happened to them, Senator? They got run out of your party! What did liberals do that was so offensive to the Republican Party? I'll tell you what they did. Liberals got women the right to vote. Liberals got African-Americans the right to vote. Liberals created Social Security and lifted millions of elderly people out of poverty. Liberals ended segregation. Liberals passed the Civil Rights Act, the Voting Rights Act. Liberals created Medicare. Liberals passed the Clean Air Act, the Clean Water Act. What did Conservatives do? They opposed them on every one of those things every one. So when you try to hurl that label at my feet, 'Liberal,' as if it were something to be ashamed of, something dirty, something to run away from, it won't work, Senator, because I will pick up that label and I will wear it as a badge of honor.

Just one quick point, Richard Nixon established the EPA, Mr Santos seems to have forgotten that point. Well he is dead(Santos that is, God Bless his lil pointed head) so I won't speak any ill about him.

I have to chuckle at the government programs that Santos thought were such accomplishments .... some of the biggest government 'welfare/handout' programs ever created

I don't get the relevance of Nixon/EPA.

I'm also curious - which of these programs do you disapprove of?
