@kevcvs57 saidI’ll bite.
No you need to site a specific source so that posters can have the first clue as to what you are rambling on about in any given thread.
8500 people a day- it’s in the news every 10 minutes, no cite needed.
My question is, could they theoretically ALL come here? Tough one for you to chat about?
Why do libs answer like you did? I know why. Anger. You fellers are so angry.
@averagejoe1 saidSo no link. Just some news reports in your area. You seem to think that everyone in the world sees the same news that you have in your village. This matches your small minded views on immigration. So until there is no substantive report on what is going on at the southern US border, all we have is your speculation.

@shavixmir saidIt is a certainty in the future. Countries and cultures are far closer because of technology, the internet, smartphones and instant communication, than say 100 yrs ago. Imagine what the world will be like 100 yrs from mow. Many borders will come down.
Absolutely.
I’m all for the scrapping of all international borders.

@averagejoe1 saidRight, but you wrote that the border wouldn't be open until Thursday. That's what doesn't add up here. It's not open now?
You can mince words if you would like. Turn on any news channel, we are receiving 8500 immigrants a day, 8500 a day. Why don’t you try to parse all of that to make it look real good from your point of view. It is not real good. You know it, I know it, everybody knows it.
Note that this is a timely thread, Thursday watch them come ‘a runnin! Let’s see if you write a ...[text shortened]... tering a country easily.”
So by golly, WGrass your trolling lands you once again in quicksand!!

@averagejoe1 saidThe logic is simple. The US can benefit from more labour, both skilled and unskilled. Canada is begging people to move there to work and settle down. These two countries can take all of the Mexican population and even all of the Central American's. The initial impact is like hard to swallow medicine, but in the long run the entire North American continent will be very prosperous with almost no unemployment and almost nobody living under the poverty line.
Shav, I am quite unfamiliar with Mr. Rajtk, is he for real. Why don’t you take the first stab at his logic. Like, is it lovely-simple.

@averagejoe1 saidIsn't it funny how America is constantly being berated for being Big Bad Racist but the POC's from all over the world keep clamoring to come here?
Biden will complete opening the border on Thursday, and I was just cogitating.
Theoretically, all of them could come here. They have seen our beautiful country on TV and know that it is the land of opportunity. (Which Shav and Zahl disagree with),
Any comments. Our world is changing, you understand?

@averagejoe1 saidNot really Joe but they do not all want to come and live in the US so it’s a very hypothetical question even for you.

@wildgrass saidI did not write that the border wouldn’t be open until Thursday. I wrote that he will be completely finished opening the border.
Right, but you wrote that the border wouldn't be open until Thursday. That's what doesn't add up here. It's not open now?
You have made me look like a total fool in front of Sonhouse and everybody. I could just scream.

@rajk999 saidHow do you handle the fact that some people work harder than others?

I love your saying ‘ the Impact’ would be hard to swallow, Uhhh, yeah. Jesus.

@jj-adams saidThis is one of the sticking points that these lily-livered liberals will not respond to. It is posed a lot, but they remain silent.

@kevcvs57 said8500 a day works out to about 40million in 10 years. But the 8500 will surely double after Thursday, (ending of the subject law) , so make that 80M people in 10 years.
Not really Joe but they do not all want to come and live in the US so it’s a very hypothetical question even for you.
And you think it will stop? I think most allof them will come. Each of the 8500 each day will’send for’ their families. You know, if we were not here to hold back the giving away of our country, we would already be Socialist. But, stick around!
@averagejoe1 saidFreaking crybabies. How dare we actually do something for other people? How bone-chillingly selfish do you have to be?

At the base of the Statue of Liberty, in New York harbor, is a plaque with the words of The New Colossus, by Emma Lazurus.
Not like the brazen giant of Greek fame,
With conquering limbs astride from land to land;
Here at our sea-washed, sunset gates shall stand
A mighty woman with a torch, whose flame
Is the imprisoned lightning, and her name
Mother of Exiles. From her beacon-hand
Glows world-wide welcome; her mild eyes command
The air-bridged harbor that twin cities frame.
"Keep, ancient lands, your storied pomp!" cries she
With silent lips. "Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me,
I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"
"World-wide welcome." How DARE we.
@suzianne saidWell, Mother Suzianne, Open up your home on Elm Street to all who come. This could violate your subdivision covenants, though, as your neighbors who worked hard to build homes in which to raise their families, enjoying peace and prosperity, would have hell in their neighborhood. Need I elaborate?
