I still have a problem with how the guy could get off 8 shots by himself, when a Secret Service Sniper had the shooter on the roof in his sites. Why wasn't the ok given to take the kill shot??? It is so obvious that would be a spot for a possible assassin to be is on the very top of that roof. There was a big failure by the Secret Service or something on the inside going on. Some wonder about an inside job within the Secret Service???

No but the shrapnel had to have come as a result of the bullet and people died that day so there definitely was an attempt on his life. I thought maybe it was a step till I heard the dude was a 20 yo kid with only some rounds fired at a firing range, not lessons from a sniper, which I thought was borne out by the fact he fired 8 rounds when a sniper would take ONE round to do the job. Especially at such a close range, relative to what a real sniper can do with optics.
Too bad they didn't change the age rule to 21, he could not have purchased that assault rifle.
