@no1marauder saidAnd I hardly think the Mexicans would want Texas.
This ain't the EU; who knows what restrictions those Texas lunatics would put on travel.
It’s a bit like Ireland and Northern Ireland. Historically speaking, they want the North… but politically speaking: who the hell wants those crazy, fundamentalist, right-wing bastards?
@lipareeno saidYou mean you have the racist stereotype down.
@AThousandYoung
Im moving there if it happens.
With my thick mustache and my Beanie cap I absolutely look Mexican.
I even have the walk and talk down pat.
I used to get the guys laughing with that one.
Edit: I better start learning some Spanish or whatever they speak.
@shavixmir saidIt already is.
But if they’re booted out, the people will be the same, it’ll just be like going abroad though.
@kevin-eleven saidThere is no constitutional procedure for kicking a state out of the union, certainly not against the will of its citizens. Still, I understand your concern. The problem with America is not Texas per se. The problem with America is that the two party system is broken. Firstly, neither party will publicly acknowledge that the other party represents legitimate concerns. And secondly, the Republicans have been commandeered by a demagogue and completely lost their principles. Pluralism was always America’s great strength, and it can be again. The way forward for America is to publicly discredit the demagogue, put him on trial, and then get back to the business of governing instead of accusing each other of destroying the country.
I'm starting to think maybe we shouldn't wait for them to secede.
Maybe also make D.C. a state, or allow California to split into two states, so that we don't have to change the 50-star flag.
@moonbus saidFirst you are going to make the Democrats stop being so dishonest.
