Dem Congressman Pulls Fire Alarm

If a Jan. 6th protester went into that Capitol building and pulled a fire alarm what do you all think he would be charged with? What was his excuse for playing with the fire alarm he is so familiar with when he was a teacher and principal in school? Is he going to say he was just dusting it off and oops? If a student in high school did that what would he tell that student? KEEP YOUR DAMN HANDS OFF OF THE FIRE ALARM! That is what he would say, right?

I say he should get 20 years in prison like the Proud Boys leader who was not even at the Capitol Building. They were both delaying official proceedings of the democratic process.

In a Saturday statement, Bowman said "I want to personally clear up confusion surrounding today's events," adding "Today, as I was rushing to make a vote, I came to a door that is usually open." (it's not)

"I am embarrassed to admit that I activated the fire alarm, mistakenly thinking it would open the door."

No, I don't prejudge what a sentence should be that's for a judge to decide IF and when he is found guilty. We are not the party of knee jerk reactions based on little knowledge of the circumstances; that's for right wing jerks like yourself.

That being said, it's unlikely a defendant with no prior record would get any jail time assuming he pled guilty to that charge.

He'd been a school principal, knows fire alarms. 6-months in jail, obviously a nefarious act to stop a vote. No lib here will say he should go to jail. Why won't they say that? That is the real issue of this thread. We are conversing with disingenuous wimps.
If they say he should be jailed in an orange jump suit, it will open up their liberal other positions to scrutiny, as they will be conflicted. It is this type of a schism which brings out all that emotion.

I guess he knew he was pulling the fire alarm and did it because he was late and wanted to make sure he got to vote. He was being egocentric.
