In a world that wasn't so irretrievably arse over tit, capacity for doubt and reconsideration would be, of course, precious political virtues and seen as an honest embrace of all that is best about the human spirit and intellect.

Barack Obama apparently made Dennis Kucinich an offer he couldn’t refuse. After a ride together this week on Air Force One to Kucinich’s home town of Cleveland, Kucinich came out yesterday saying that he’d vote “yes” for the Affordable Health Care Choices Act, more commonly known as the “Obamacare” bill.
You may remember that Kucinich had previously opposed the bill as not being radical enough, so what do you suppose Obama promised him to get his vote? How about that this current health care “reform” bill is just the first step on the way to single payer health care, also known as socialized medicine? Anyone familiar with Obama’s past as a “community organizer” and all-round leftist trouble shooter won’t be surprised at all to find out that he’s made numerous statements in support of both socialized medicine and in recognition that social(ist) programs need to transition vs. being implemented immediately in their entirety. (The Obama and other Democrat footage begins about 4:15 into the video.)
...
Kucinich, former mayor of Cleveland, is looking to remake the whole country into another Cleveland, with a bloated public sector, high-paid unions, and the whole enchilada. All Barack Obama had to do to get his vote was to promise him one little first step, from which all else will follow.
Originally posted by zeeblebotGee, you'd think that since all you right wingers know that Obama is a Marxist sleeper that a commie like Kucinich would know, too.

the other sources i googled didn't note Kucinich switched his vote after a ride on the plane with Obama.
not that he switched his vote ON the plane. that'd be too late. but he got Obama or Obama volunteered to come to his district to root for him.
and not that there AREN'T other sources. just that's where i stopped.
