Even assuming that A) Gates doesn't testify and B) Gates' testimony is essential for a conspiracy conviction, Manafort could still be convicted of crimes that would put him away for the rest of his life.
Manafort does not seem worried.

Actually CNN, MSNBC, CBS, and ABC have turned me towards Trump I wasn't a fan at
first. After 24/7 hate Trump now it is all noise and if something really bad comes up it will
just be part of the noise that is hate Trump.
Have you considered the possibility that the "hate" is justified, and you got taken advantage of?

Have you considered being fed constant BS like for example: Trump called Mexicans rapists detracted from legitimate criticism and gave Trump a big leg up.

KN Logic 🙄

What Trump actually said was:
"When Mexico sends its people, they're not sending their best.

"They're not sending you. They're not sending you. They're sending people that have lots of problems, and they're bringing those problems with us.

"They're bringing drugs. They're bringing crime. They're rapists. And some, I assume, are good people."

So, with the caveats that he was referring to immigrants to the US and that he did not say this of all of them, it is the case that Donald Trump called Mexican immigrants to the US rapists. So it was legitimate criticism.

Ahh the climb down caveat.

So he was not saying it of "all of them". Those are your words are they not? "did not say this of all of them". So he was not saying it of the people that are not rapists, is that your point.

Yes he wasn't saying it about children, or old ladies, or old men or anyone that wasn't a rapist. So who was he saying it about? He was talking about rapists, not Mexicans.

I'm well aware of the Trump quote, it has been pasted here many times.
Edit: Another tactic we saw from KN was that he didn't mean Mexicans, it was about other nationalities too. Come on guys get your story right.

I suggest you take a course in comprehensive reading. Perhaps you should not have dropped out of high school?

KN "Yes, technically Trump "only" said that the people "sent by Mexico" are rapists. "

And we've got deep thought saying technically he's not referring to anyone that isn't a rapist.

Both of them can not be projected to "Mexicans are rapists"

I think "They're rapists.", followed by the caveat: "and some, I assume, are good people." is intended to convey the idea that the majority of Mexican immigrants to the US are rapine. That he qualified his statement, rather grudgingly, does not really alter the fact that he was talking about Mexicans.

...and the fact that it is not only Mexicans crossing that border.

Since the first sentence started: "When Mexico sends its people..." it is clear that he is talking about Mexicans. Although, I'm sure he'd be happy to insult other nations.

I'm fine with the fact he did not say 'Mexicans are rapists', watching your contortions trying to twist what he did say into something he didn't say is just a bonus.

Well, at least this answers why you're always asking for "definitions" of words people use in their posts. You just don't understand English.

Notice the nice handsome pic of Manny, not what he looks like now. Wonder why that would be, eh?
He just might be the president of the NRA some day. Look at Ollie North.

I'm sure everyone who hates someone else feels justified, a lot of things are done by those
who hate, and in their minds totally justified.

You Reek of Idiocy, was the working title of a Trump branded men's Cologne that never quite made it to market. The tag line was if you wear any other fragrance you "Reek of Idiocy" but the promotional company had to junk the idea when it became clear that most people conflated the tag with Trump himself.
