According to a new report, children as young as five contacted ChildLine about mental health problems last year, and nearly four out of five calls about suicide were from girls. Coupled with all the anti-American and anti-Israel screeds, "global warming" alarmism and calls for more socialism coming from the majority of British posters on RHP, I must ask the question: Are Britons going insane?

Our judges have just agreed to deport a muslim cleric described as Osama's second-hand man in Europe.

Other children from 2 - 5 should not watch more than two hours a week and children from 5 - 12 should not watch more than 4 - 6 hours a week. On top of that, programs dealing with serioues "adult" problems such as war in present and past, child abuse, sexual abuse, animal abuse, global warming, environment issues and other items or programs with potentially treatening content for children should be avoided.

In general children are confronted with the world problems too early, meaning at a very young age. They cannot deal with the weight this puts on their shoulders .... even adults often cannot take it, let alone children.
"Don't let your children watch televison on their own" is also a good advice. Very young children often do not make a clear difference between an experience they "simply" saw and an experience they watched on televison.

Of course, it must be everyone else who is nuts - the alternative is too much for him to consider....

Ignorant people think they know a lot more than they do, whilst well-read people realise that there's so much more knowledge out there.
Likewise with sanity, if you think everyone else has gone wrong and you're the one that's right, then you have *issues*. If you realise that you think differently to a lot of people then you have a grip on reality.

But enough about the Hun, how does this relate to my hypothesis that the denizens of Great Britain are all going mad? Could it be the balmy, dreary weather that makes them this way? Or perhaps it is the fact that they live on an island with a closed population and the attendant inbreeding?

I have no idea how a sane individual can have that viewpoint after comparing their own GDP per individual with Frances' over the last say, twenty years. It's incomprehensible to me - that even after witnessing firsthand the advantage of a free market - someone can be driven into apoplexy and the mere thought of more capitalism.
