you guys are all class, really.
As to what can be done; re-regulation is a step in the right direction. increase taxes on the top 2% in our country, get the hell out of Iraq, and balance the budget. And if anyone is wondering, it is highly unlikely that anyone on this site is in the top 2%. If the rich pay their fair share of taxes, then the middle class can pay less.

They're fighting for the guy next to them. You should know, having been in combat. They deserve to come home victorious, but you're more concerned about the politics of Dems. vs. Reps. and they're stuck in the middle. It's people like you who give the enemy courage to go on, but, my bad, you're a True patriot.

Duecer is a phony, he claims to want to honor our soldiers, but continues to put them down every chance he gets. Put that in your peace pipe. Oops, i forgot, he's a true patriot and corporate as kisser.

surely you're aware that the phrase "Support the Troops" gets trotted out by the White House every time they need more money for the war, but you still hear about soldiers without body armor or armored vehicles- but the mercenary contractors are somehow fully prepared, so I think that the phrase "Support the Troops" as it's used by the White House and politicians, is propaganda, with little or no regard for the actual men and women fighting the war, just a means of playing the system for more war money.
Originally posted by Darth SpongeYes, it would mean bringing them home...with victory. It does not mean calling them rapist and baby killers. They went to war with what they had, thanks to the 50% cut in the military budget by Clinton. The body armor has been taken care of. Of course they need more money as long as the war lasts they'll need more money. What do you mean playing the system? We're not just fighting a war. We're trying to rebuild the country also. I don't know that the mercenary contracters are fully prepared. It's a shame that we need to hire mercenaries, because our own citizens don't have a hair on there as and won't enlist. Are you telling me Bush has no reguard for the troops fighting this war... he doesn't want to win? He just wants the money? You got some grazy weed in your peace pipe. Money means nothing to a Millionaire. He'd rather have the power gained by military victory.
