He killed America... in my opinion the worst leader of a world power in HISTORY.

In the old days i don't believe the Presidents had nearly as much power as they do today and were mostly not noted for doing much. It wasn't until we got involved with the European countries and European wars that the Pres. gained more power. I guess i like George Wash the best. He didn't do much and stayed out of our lives. And he never lied.

I think Lincoln is a terrible choice for the top spot since he did such a terrible job managing the country that the South seceded and plunged us into a civil war, killing over hundreds of thousands of Americans and decimating the South. Also, FDR -- puhleaze. The country is still trying to divest itself from the construction of the welfare state, which he was architect of and oversaw. Kennedy? Why? He was so inexperienced that Khrushchev bullied him at every step of his presidency, forcing him to finally threaten nuclear annihilation to regain the balance of power with the Russians. Remember the Bay of Pigs? A complete fiasco. Also, he got us into Vietnam and allowed nukes into Cuba on his watch. Lastly, he was so unpopular that a communist sympathizer assassinated him, which is really hard to do for a Democrat. Kennedy was a terrible president.
Bush's approval rating is 30%; nowhere near that number rated him as the "Best President" in the poll (it doesn't have numbers, but Lincoln was #1 with 20% and Bush was #10, so he must have gotten less than 10% - a tiny minority).
The poll only had 10 presidents before FDR and the 12 since, so it's hardly an accurate survey anyway.
