Well, since it's not me who's gonna suffer from global warming, I really couldn't give a rat's arse.
However. The ice caps are melting, villages are disappearing (as are whole islands) and there is proof that it has to do with human behaviour.
Accuse all you want babes, I'm getting my towel out and going for a sun tan.

I'm not looking for 99.99% proof, just something more than circumstantial "it's getting hotter and we're producing more CO2 etc therefore our production of CO2 is the cause of it getting hotter". Once get chance to check out some of the links posted I might find that this proof is indeed there.

I'd actually need to see these guys reports not their summary of their conculsions.

What you are looking for is not proof of global warming, but that global warming is as a result of man's activities?
There are very good graphs of CO2 conc. vs global temprature over both short term (last 100 years) and longer terms (last 400,000 years or so). We do know that CO2 emissions by industry are currently huge, and there is a good correlat ...[text shortened]... on between emissions and global temperature. One can stick ones head in the sand if they want.

one of the tests to see if gloabal warming is happening is computer modeling. the test is how do you know if the model is an accurate description of what happens in the real world is to start it 100 years ago and see if it accurately predicts todays climate. our current models do. given we have reasonable models of the earths climate the next step is to ...[text shortened]... you can measure the temperature rise. and the vast proportion of it is demonstrably human made.

One last post ot this one (and I won't cite my sources)... Global warming, bird flu, SARS, economic collapse, ad infinitum, are all ploys of the secret global government to keep us ruled by fear. They want us to be divided and afraid.
The more accurate the model, the higher the prediction of a global temperature rise under doubling CO2 concentration levels. Can't give you the reference yet as the paper's not yet been written.

It would be nice to ba able to build a whole load of earth like planets, set them up with different conditions (such as whether or not they have artificial CO2 emmisions or not) and 'run' them to see the differenig effects, however that is presently beyond our scientific knowledge. and if we could do it we wouldn't need to care about global warming anyway. given that computer models are the only other option.
