One of the chief fallacies of the credit card shuffle, is the cost of debt service. In the case of the US government, last time I looked the debt service (interest on the debt) was one of the top budget items more than a quarter of all revenues.

In families this is disastrous, as credit card companies walk away with funds that ought to be buying food ...[text shortened]... ney spent on debt service is money that can't be spent on social programs, or military hardware.
Where did you get that figure? I just checked the 2013 figure and it's 15%.

Amendment proposals may be adopted and sent to the states for ratification by either:

Progressives used the first method to amend the Constitution and I'm proposing that the states use the later.

The only role Congress has is choosing where the states meet. If Congress refuses to allow them to meet then we have a Constitutional crisis on our hands and the federal government can then be declared illegitimate.

This provision was put in the Constitution based upon the fear that the federal government would become too powerful.

By all counts, we be there now!!

How many states have called for a constitutional convention? By that count, the one that matters, we are not there now.

Here is the breakdown of the above for the GOP filth.

1. 8 from California (a state where they are either democrat or vote democrat)
2. 4 are from New York (a state that is like California)
3. 3 are from New Jersey (home of Chris Cream puff progressives)
4. 3 are from Pennsylvannia (the new liberal state)
5. 2 are from Illionios (a state where I d ...[text shortened]... Out of all the Republicans who voted democrat only 2 appear to be on the hot seat next election.
Your description of New Jersey is wrong, it is the state that allows the Governor to take revenge on others through the states own people. (closing a bridge)
