The death of the international pianist and soloist who had toured with the Moscow Philharmonic Society was an almost incomprehensible blow for a family already devastated by Nicholas' death.

"Why is this happening to us," asked Oksana Naumkin, who is now mourning her son and her father. She is tortured by the question and terrified by the thought that death comes in threes.

She said Moston and his wife, Nina, were paying bills in the Exit 15 area on foot when they visited Nicholas' grave at Maplewood Cemetery on Loudon Road. Her father became disoriented when it was time to go home, she said.
