Today is the day Tenzin Gyatso the spiritual leader and incarnation of the previous Dalai Lama turns 71. We should celebrate that they managed to locate the sea of wisdom once again and that he's reached such an admirable age.
Everyday there is joy somewhere in the world. Good idea this, Scottish. đ

Summary: the people of Hawai'i weren't strong enough to resist colonisation. Into the melting pot with them! (The USA wasn't alone in its infamy--similar stunts were pulled by Tsarist Russia, the British Empire, Belgium, etc. Of course most of Russia and the UK's colonies are now independent!)

As a sovereign she was within her rights to apply the law of her country! What do you get if you try to overthrow the government in the USA? (Of course the troops were exonerated...the Hawaians tried to overthrow themselves...happens all the time...)
