Argh, no, hell, that's a depicable weasel.
You like Juan?! 😕
Don't talk to me anymore.
At least we agree on Lincoln, King, and Hernandez. Anyway, I give up.
Originally posted by SleepyguyLOL, we must work on your mixup with Spanish vs. English phrasing, i.e. in Spanish it would be 'gringo racista' and in English 'racist gringo', but not the other way 🙂

It's Dennis Chavez.

From another site, the one I provided above, you can read:
After World War II because of the discrimination practices Hispanic Veterans were encountering, Senator Dennis Chávez made front page news when he stated that:
We are "Americans" when we go to war, and when we return, we are "Mexicans".
Mr Dennis Chávez was elected to the House of Representatives in 1930, and to the Senate in 1935, where he served until his death on November 18, 1962.
In a time when his ethnic origin was much more of a trouble than it is today (it still is, IMHO), he stood up. There are many things I dislike about the U.S., but there is an equal amount of things I like, and Chavez' phrase above embodies what I believe is one the best features of the U.S.
