@thedogandthecello saidNo, moron.
@Suzianne
So California, NY and Florida decide for the rest of the country?
It will never happen so quit harping about it.
The People decide.
You know, "We the People"? It's not "We the States".
And it will happen once we get a non-moron president and a non-moron Congress and a non-corrupt Supreme Court.
The country is called United States and the people decide for each state.
You can't have population centers cancelling out small states. The entire country has a say in who becomes president. Not just a few blue states with massive populations.
You're only complaining because the electoral college is currently going against your chosen party. If it wasn't, you wouldn't be saying anything.
@thedogandthecello saidStates don't vote.

I said people.
Every state has people.
People should only get one vote in this country, not making up a system where they get more votes. Some people get less than one vote.
The major fallacy in your thinking is that you think you know what I think and why.
@thedogandthecello saidThe Electoral College permits some people's vote to mean more because they are dumb.
Imagine if people like this decided the outcome,
"I'm voting for Kamala because she's a woman!"
Or
"I'm voting for Kamala because she has brown skin!"
The electoral college tries to save us from the majority of dumb Americans.

@Suzianne saidInteresting. So you are of the opinion that Trump will be President?
Well, most agree that Trump will lose the popular vote but win the Electoral vote.
The best reason possible for eliminating the Electoral College. It can't even do what it was designed to do: keep wanna-be autocrats out of the White House. Clearly, it fails on this. When less people vote, or rather, when not everyone's vote counts, Republicans win.
Even the B ...[text shortened]... were true, we would not have to have had the burden of enduring one Trump presidency, much less two.
