I found a short but interesting page on the death-toll figures in Iraq.
It gives 3 different sources. Iraq Body Count(American Lies).. Iraqi Health Ministry(Probably not the whole truth).. Lancet(Possible over/under estimation).

What should we look at then, when trying to interpret the cost of war? 60,000 to 100,000+ to 600,000+.
Originally posted by GascraftYou list Iraq Body Count as American lies, so at least you show your bias. This way, everyone knows that you will never accept it as accurate so they don't need to waste their time talking about that one.

The 600,000 number has shown to have some problems.
I would be inclined to take the Ministry of Health number. Its the closest thing to actual confirmed deaths. Now, we do have to somehow try to account for bodies that didn't hit the morgue. I would guess that in the early going, they missed a lot of bodies, though I doubt they missed a half a million of them.
I would guess that a multiplier of 1.5 would get into the ballpark.
It is lies.
It's only the deaths that their techniques have recorded. No deaths that go unaccounted(although the grate in Baghdad's river may have improved this), no deaths as an indirect result of what the invasion has caused, etc, etc, etc. It's Bias with good reason.
I guess a big question would be to ask how come it's half that of the Iraqi Health Ministry.. before getting to the actual figures.
America increases terrorism through it's occupation.
Not everyone will bow down to people who have killed their family members and friends to let them rule over their lives. America tries to come across as good, so certain Iraqi people will kiss their feet. I guess terrorist organisations like Al Qaeda consider them to be the same as actual Americans, where ironically they try to eradicate EVIL like Bush.
It goes one way and then the other, but Bush was completely wrong to begin with.. yet I guess his own pride is worth far more than other people's innocent lives. Haha.. America The Brave!

What I get out of it is that maybe the terrorists should stop killing innocent civilians. I suggest that we give the terrorists free passage to Armenia. I'm sure they wouldn't kill anyone there.
