Does his strategy work? Has it worked on any of you?
I think it works. It's worked for me.

I would say that the RHP community is pretty much 50/50 conservative to liberal. While STANGS message is okay, his method is in question.

And the answer is "No, spamming is not an effective way to change peoples minds."

The problem I have with Stang's strategy is that it is not a conversation, it is a monologue.

I would suggest that if you want to change people's minds, the best way is to get THEM to change their minds by discussing their views rather than simply presenting your own repeatedly.

The discussion can certainly *include* presenting your views, but without the to-and-fro of dialogue it doesn't engage the other person. About the only reason to get involves is to let Stang (or anyone else who tries a similar method) that they're annoying.

Getting attention isn't really the best way to get results.

I think it works for me up to a point. However after a while ...[text shortened]... tion because I lose respect for him, and therefore any position he might have loses credibility.
thank god there is someone out there who understands what i have been saying, stang has some good points but becouse of his retoric he turns peaple against him.

Stang's 'strategy' as you put it, amounts to spamming the forums with variations on the same theme, over and over. Spammers should cop a forum ban. Sure, he should be able to say his piece, but not over and over and bloody over.

STANG is a spammer and an annoyance. STANG should be banned from the forums.
