I certainly do trust him when dealing with these 'people', ....would you feel more comfortable if we were biting our nails as we watch Harris negotiate with Xi about tariffs? You would put Kamala in the ring with Xi instead of Trump? What if she does not show, as in her failure to interview?

Have you seen that post of Shav ('When is a price too high' thread) where he is once again toying with paying people what they need to live on? You remember, a single guy is quite happy at $24/hr , lives well. His co-worker, same job, has wife, 3 kids. $24 is not enough to 'live on' as Shav says.
I have asked him where he is going with this premise and he will prob respond Netherlands-time tomorrow. Cancel your appointments.

The reason why Trump talks as if he is ignorant of the most basic economic concepts is either because: 1) He is; 2) He isn't but thinks the people he's talking to are or 3) Some strange combination on 1 and 2.
In any event, while the incidence of tariffs isn't the easiest thing to quantify to claim it has "doesn't effect" the country that puts them on is stupidity.
