You are saying that one who predicts a race is a hack.

Was I a hack picking a horse at Saratoga?
Am I a hack predicting that Trump will win?

Go ahead, write tomes which are really really bad.

Hack. Really. A lot of people are hacks, then. Was I a hack to predict that Trump would win in 2020?

Let me get this straight. This is all you got. He predicted something that did not happen. Absolutely unbelievable. Uhh, you found this in the 2012 stacks??
Sure anyone who makes political predictions will invariably get some wrong.

But Morris' 2012 prediction, made the day before the election mind you, was so ludicrously wrong and out of the mainstream as to make any of his future pronouncements from him more comedy material than anything else. Heck, even Fox News got rid of him shortly after that fiasco.

Here's a blast from the past from Dick Morris:

"Prediction: Romney 325, Obama 213

Yup. That’s right. A landslide for Romney approaching the magnitude of Obama’s against McCain. That’s my prediction.

On Sunday, we changed our clocks. On Tuesday, we’ll change our president.

Romney will win the states McCain car ...[text shortened]... edia.org/wiki/2012_United_States_presidential_election

So hang your hat on that fool if you want.
So that guy was actually serious about Trump being well informed and prepared to debate economics and foreign affairs?

Damn. I thought for sure the OP was satire.

This is not meant to bait or titillate anyone, an interesting take by Dick Morris, Clinton's Dem advisor. ....Didn't know Korea!!?!?

'''The Democrats' nominee, Morris added, is "famous for not really preparing for stuff."

"Her whole record indicates very often a slapdash, almost scatterbrained approach to stuff, and Trump is incredibly well-prepared and incredibly k ...[text shortened]... The phrase that I think will come to dominate people's perceptions of Kamala Harris is lightweight."
Here's an example of Trump's "deep understanding of the issues":

"Trump: A tariff is a tax on a foreign country. A lot of people like to say it’s a tax on us. No… It’s is a tax that doesn’t affect our country."

There is a reason for everything he says!!! For all we know, he is baiting the chinee. So, they, like you, will cast off his comment like so-much chopped liver, and he will spring a trap. Yes, I am being 'jocular, but could you put it past him.
I certainly do trust him when dealing with these 'people', ....would you feel more comfortable if we were biting our nails as we watch Harris negotiate with Xi about tariffs? You would put Kamala in the ring with Xi instead of Trump? What if she does not show, as in her failure to interview?
If we got to vote on who best to negotiate (about anything) with Xi, would you vote for Kamala or would you vote for Donald.?? A one-word answer , please.
If you answer.........................................................................................

You mention prediction again. You just got burned on that. Go figure. Predictions are not hack-fodder. Geez

Look up 'hack'. Your logic has many millions of people as hacks. Hmmmmmm, you are likely a hack. Have you mis-predicted anything? I took a bath on a stock called Rubicon, was that being a hack????

Jesus, your slobbering obsequiousness to this con man makes me retch.

Is it some form of self-hatred? Have you ever considered the possibility that rather than being the possessor of almost Godlike knowledge, he's just a pathetic rich little boy who always got his way because people like you kissed his a**?

Obviously that didn't work when he was President; the trade deficit increased substantially despite his policies.

Funny, its ok for you to diss Kamala but if I say a word dissing Trump I am now an outlaw.

Trump lied his ass off during the Biden debate and we all admit Biden did not do a great job but fact checkers showed exactly what and how many times Trump lied or misrepresented during his 'debate',
Mark my words, Kamala will not let Trump get away spewing lie after lie, she will correctly point out every one of his lies. And he WILL lie no doubt about that, he is incapable of telling the truth about ANYTHING, you ask him the time of day, oh, lets see, sun shining overhead, he goes ah, 3 am, really dark out.

You have written the same things about Trump for years....8 years?/. long time. Exhausting. Maybe if you change your patter.......

As to lies, all politicians lie, the word is almost invisible now. So, I vote for a businessman rather than a communist/.
You want to help the Forum??? And get off boring TDS???
Try building a conversation of voting for a communist, or, a businessman who lies like politicians do. Be interesting. And here is a unique idea......write about TODAY instead of yesterday. And don't waste your/our time saying she is not a communist.

You don't like rich people, it shows. Pervasive indeed.

Have you seen that post of Shav ('When is a price too high' thread) where he is once again toying with paying people what they need to live on? You remember, a single guy is quite happy at $24/hr , lives well. His co-worker, same job, has wife, 3 kids. $24 is not enough to 'live on' as Shav says.
I have asked him where he is going with this premise and he will prob respond Netherlands-time tomorrow. Cancel your appointments.

I have no respect for people like yourself who grovel before someone just because they were born rich and even assume that somehow makes them wiser than the rest of us.

The US was supposed to get rid of that silly aristocratic idea 250 years ago.

The reason why Trump talks as if he is ignorant of the most basic economic concepts is either because: 1) He is; 2) He isn't but thinks the people he's talking to are or 3) Some strange combination on 1 and 2.

In any event, while the incidence of tariffs isn't the easiest thing to quantify to claim it has "doesn't effect" the country that puts them on is stupidity.

The word is spelled 'Chinese'.

Why are you so racist?

Is it pejorative, I didn't know. I don't like them, though, so do I get a pass? They want to hurt us, Suzianne. Aussies are called Limeys, I hear that all the time. And is Aussie OK? They don't want to hurt us. The Chinese want to hurt us. Let's discuss it, or give us some more about how knowledgeable Kamala is!

I don't get this rich post, but curious, what should have gotten rid of 250 years ago?
