Respect for your right to live free from force and threats of force. Respect for property rights. In short the philosophy of Objectivism. Forget the religious reasons for not stealing i.e. your majic friend in the sky is watching and you're going downstairs and you're going to stand with flames licking your balls, screaming for an eternity. Learn why it's wrong to steal.
...[text shortened]... the worst abuser, and if the state can do it, that's all the excuse many people need.

More guns.
Property rights… uhuh… that’ll do it.
Next you’ll be suggesting “more guns” like a complete retard.

Oh.

Because you don’t comprehend the systemic nature of the situation, you can’t fathom what the solution to the problem is.

So, any thoughts you have on the matter continue to be reactionary; punishment after the deed.

Let me ask it a different way: what do you think needs to be done to stop the crimes from happening in the first place?
Jail criminals for long periods of time for starters, cut all the hair off, give them orange suit. Do you agree?

No. That does not stop the crime in the first place. It’s a reactionary measure.

What do you think will stop people from committing these crimes?

I meant. Not the Crime”.
You people write post after post, like in the ‘store ravaging’ , about what someone said! Said!?, Kev wants to know who called it ‘Lawful Looting’ which I’d posted.
You faeries find That to be the issue, as you see news and video night-after-night of the actual looting footage. You see the world as being ‘what people think’.
How about ...[text shortened]... ???????
Note that you never speak directly to what is happening, who is hurt….

The question is what to do with criminals. Up to now, criminals were prosecuted and thrown in jail depending on what the book says that the punishment should be. All I say is, go back to the way it was. But liberals have come on the scene and they are saying get rid of police and do not prosecute criminals. You know it, I know it, everybody knows it. So that is what we should do is go back to the old way and prosecute and jail criminals , most of them for the rest of their lives. Is there anything here that you do not agree with? We would all like to know what it is.

US incarceration rates have been on a slow decline since about 2008. But they're still way way higher 3x higher) than they were in 1980.

So when you refer to "old days" do you mean 2008 or 1980?

Actually, starting in medieval times, up to the advent of the liberal moment . So when was that? Maybe the late 60’s.
When did we stop punishing people, just letting them go?

Look. Locking up the most people in the world has not stopped crime, has it?

So, what’s causing that crime?
What factors need to be addressed, to make sure people no longer feel the need to do this particular sort of crime?

I GOT IT! Let’s do what China. does to their lawbreakers. They send them out to work very very very very hard in fields and concrete mines and quarries. Worky worky. That is what they do to the criminals. Note that they do not need a prison to do this, they can sleep on the ground somewhere. Criminals. Punished. No hair buns or hoodies, one set of clothes per year. Does that sound bad? So is what what they did. Y’all are the weakest crowd of people I have ever dealt with.

No. You still don’t understand.

Before… BEFORE… people resort to crime… they are not criminals.
Now, many of these non-criminals who end up becoming criminals live in similar conditions, live similar lives.

What are the main points in their pre-criminal existence which differ from the main points to the group who does not resort to crime?

Now, once you know these points or factors, what would you do to address them, so that the pre-criminals don’t resort to crime?

There are two reasons for crime. You absolutely hate someone or something, or you want someone else’s stuff. So, in the first instance, there is not much to do except dictate that everyone live the golden rule.
The answer to someone else’s stuff, is Marxism. If everybody has the same stuff, then there will be no reason to try to get someone else’s stuff. That would save a lot of plundering and theft, and maybe a few killings.
