Instead he tick-tacks around the truth that his administration actually reversed a decade long trend in which the illegal immigrant population in the US was decreasing.

Illegal immigration got worse under Trump's watch for the first time since George Bush.

These are the numbers JJ. Illegal aliens living in the US were extremely high in 2007. These numbers declined steadily (still about triple what the number was in the 90s), and then it started climbing again in 2019. Two years before Biden arrived.

Maybe not working fine, but they were working a helluva lot better than when Biden took over.
Under Biden the immigration laws are just ignored.

It was really really bad back in the mid 2000s. The numbers were steadily improving since 2007 but that trend was reversed by trump's administration in 2019.

We need new, better laws.
