My hypothetical doesn't suck.
A citizen took the law into his own hands and killed 2 suspected burglars in cold blood and is now making up a weak story to try and cover up his double homicide.
Fits in perfectly with the scenario I sketched.
You would call for the he ...[text shortened]... K man, sorry. I didn't know people were stealing from and killing shop owners. Carry on!'?
I do not respond to hypotheticals. It's a suckers game.

Sir Horn did not take the law into his own hands. He followed Texas Law. His actions were legal in Texas. If this goes to a jury trial he will be found innocent.

Granny has always said; don't steal from your neighbor and you won't be walking around with an exploded watermellon for a head. Life is simple.

It is avoiding what is right in front of us to make it look like something
else. The fact they were doing a crime is taken off the table if we can
be moved to talking about shop lifting and someone else killing a
child that has not happened as if that some how makes what did
happen not relevant. Reality is an inconvenient part of this
discussion if the discussion can be moved to a hypothetical one that
they favor like the death of innocent children of those they disagree
with they get to make their point seem valid in own their eyes, they
don't have to deal with the facts at hand.
