@mott-the-hoople saidWhat HE said.
the fact you excuse this mayors racism is racist itself.
That poster is an excusnik for severe racists - even if it is for the day. that poster IS a racist. severely

I wouldn’t call it “extremely racist” as the OP suggests.
Your opinion, and not a good one.
What would you do if a WHITE mayor of a principal city said, "Hey, y'all, I'm only interviewing with White reporters today"
it's RACISM, dude, get WOKE
@suzianne saidthen why the FOOK does Lori Lightfoot act the racist?
But it's not even wrong, in the same way that racism, as an institution, is wrong.
Is this teaching the kids a lesson? Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, it is. "Hooray for my people"
Separate but equal is coming back because of people like Lightfoot and YOU.
No one likes to be insulted and excluding based on something frivolous like skin color.
EDIT TO ADD: I'd tell you you're an idjut but I could be censored
@quackquack saidPoint!
Denying an interview to someone because of their race is the textbook definition of racism. You cannot excuse racism simply because it calls attention to the issue of racism.
One could also highlight the need for gun control by shooting random people. Would you excuse those murders?
Well put, quack
@kevcvs57 saidKev,
Oh I can though if I understand the insignificance of that denial compared to the significance of the systemic racism that it’s highlighting.
But if I just want to scream “oh no look over there it’s a racist black liberal” then obviously I can pretend to not understand in order to defend the actual racism the mayor is trying to highlight.
how would you feel if all the white reporters refused to interview the black mayor?

@quackquack saidSome people, Quack, call this "inverse racism" but "inverse" is only an adjective. Put simply, it's "RACISM".
You just admitted that the Mayor of Chicago implemented a racist policy but that you can pretend to ignore it because you want to highlight other racism. If you want to eliminate racism, don't find new opposite forms. People will justifiably resent her racist policies and will feel that one of the risks of having minorities is power is that they will intentionally implement anti-majority policies.
@earl-of-trumps saidI don't know if this is racist or just misplaced "wokeness". Either way, this was a bad move from the mayor. Encouraging diversity should never be done by excluding people.

@earl-of-trumps saidThey include all non whites to swell their numbers and look bigger than they are.
Surely you jest, mister Euro dumbdumb.
African Americans are 14% of the US population.
The funny part is Asians and most South Americans don't want anything to do with them 😆
@very-musty saidIT's point is as it always is, IT hates white people.
...and you approve of racism against whites.
What is your point?
