@averagejoe1 saidBuncha white boys standing around saying their freedoms are impaired.
They use the pandemic to take our freedoms so that the state can be in charge of giving those said freedoms back to us. Leana Wen, CNN Medical analyst, says we need to incentivize people to actually get the vaccine…..Biden and the Administration need to come out bolder, and say to those people..”If you are vaccinated ‘you can do all these things and have all these freedo ...[text shortened]... the government,.
Do your news sources ever apprise of these matters? Are you cool with it?
Might be funny if it weren't so danged stupid.

@wildgrass saidTHIS, all this.
Would make a great sketch on Saturday Night Live to have a William Wallace Braveheart character yelling at the crystal structure of the Sars-Cov-2 virus:
"You will take my life, but you'll never take my freedom."
One of his soldiers: "But William, there's a cheap harmless vaccine available so none of us need to die on this hill. It's more about public health than free ...[text shortened]... and goats from us, but this is a minor inconvenience at best.
William Wallace: FREEEEEEEDOM!!!!!!
@mghrn55 saidWell, no, that is not part of the issue. I just dont understand, what could you mean. Why, are you joshing Joe? So, no adult stuff as requested? Shoot. Maybe Sonhouse will chime in?
I guess this thread isn't a good place to bring up women's reproductive rights and same sex marriage ? 🤔
So that we can see what this CNN person, and the Chicago Shool Board, and the Washington Post are telling us............
Did you not see that issue? I was told you and Marauder and Jimmm are lawyers, who recognize issues.
@wildgrass saidYou say rambling, which you are doing with this post. But, is it too much to ask, that you refer and limit your response to my post? To bring you in, allow this link showing this horrible Leana person who can just out-of-hand say that the govt should tell people that they should stay home. Nothing about Snow and such. If you write about snow we may lose our audience. Tell us instead why you are cool with government power. Mandates, executive decisions, whatever.
You think I'm clouding up the issues here?
Your posts ramble from vaccines to religion to the nuclear family. Why not include snow shoveling in the mix? Just like vaccines, it is mandated. Just like vaccines, the sheep just dutifully throw their backs out. Just like vaccines, there's a lot of misinformation about who pulls the strings? Big shovel over at Lowe's hardware has a huge financial interest in maintaining the status quo. The media is lying to you.
Are you mad? Suzianne gets mad. Are you going to get mad too?

@mghrn55 saidYou fall right in line with the dems who find religion and families to be a problem, blocking their progress.
@wildgrass
I find it constantly amusing that the conservatives rail on about having to give up their freedoms.
And calling liberal minded people snowflakes.
And on and on about how liberals are led around by their noses by authoritarians.
Then they dutifully, every Sunday, pile their families into their cars and head off to church.
And play sheep to their shepherds ...[text shortened]... s sent to America by God ?
Is it any wonder that we wipe the floor with them in these forums ?? 😛
They do, you know. In this short post, you touch on both of 'the problems'. Creepy, MG
@averagejoe1 saidWhy never any facts?
Coulda fooled me
What I'm really wondering is
why you want to censor history teachers?

@averagejoe1 saidDo you agree with that article's argument that we should abolish the TSA because it is sooooooooooooooooooo inconvenient to be asked for ID and be inspected before we can board a plane? Why I can't even bring a harmless pair of box cutters onboard anymore!

@no1marauder saidThe argument is certainly ad-infinitum, but here is the first argument from my side that pops into my mind. I just hate it!

If the govt tells me to dammit take a shot, I have to. I have no other recourse, no place to turn. I am at the mercy of a despotic govt. I know , I know , that is a bit strong, but please allow my point.....
If the TSA, or Delta tells me that I have to do something,,,,,,,I do NOT HAVE TO go to the airport. So, the govt,, thusly, is not dictating to me. I can choose to avoid that particular dictum.
Another point: Libs think so much in terms of MOBS, one big group of the sheep that were mentioned in another thread, that you cannot imagine everyone not being subject to one law. Well, I just showed you that everyone would not be subject to this one law.
LORD, I wish you would respond like an adult, sitting at a pub, instead of like a computer. You got a paralegal doing this stuff for you?
Next issue, please.

@AverageJoe1
You know, there is 'following a law', and then there is what you want...'Submission'.

@averagejoe1 saidThat depends on the subject line.......

Is it the vaccine ? Or the restricting freedom.
Clearly the subject is the restriction of freedom. The vaccine is only the method.
So, are you just cherry picking your method to narrow the scope.
So I'll simplify my stance for you......
Freedom is not absolute. It is relative. The extent of your freedom ends when it starts to restrict the freedom of someone else.
Freedom not static. It is dynamic. Meaning it varies depending on any situation.
Someone trying to detonate a shoe bomb means I still take off my shoes at US airports.
A world war drawing in America means a draft into the army. That is a mandate, btw.
A serious pandemic that threatens the lives of millions means changes to daily activities. And usually only temporary.
Most people understand that. Some don't.
@averagejoe1 saidYup. You mean a law vs a mandate.
@AverageJoe1
You know, there is 'following a law', and then there is what you want...'Submission'.
Problem here there is some gray area between the 2.
Especially when mandates are disguised as laws.
By what logic is same sex marriage illegal if a law is passed making it illegal.
@mghrn55 saidMay I first refer you back to my first post, this horrible Leana Wen person who suggests that the administration hold back freedoms (which we already have) until we submit to the vax. WHY do you and Marauder not respond to that? And to the obvious put-down by dems of the famjly and of religion? See my WAPO example, black and white.
That depends on the subject line.......

I asked you first!!!! Then I will respond to this post. Why do libs avoid posts that are inconvenient?
And remember, as you and marauder are oriented toward a society of govt control, certainly more than are conservatives, you care not what happens when mandates become all the rage.
