Biologists usually talk about race in terms of reproducibility, cross breeding and so forth and by that rule, the only 'race' is humans but different color skins and such. The ability of white women to get pregnant by black men and Vice Versa says they are the same race and the difference is more than cultural, since blacks have been repressed for hundreds of years and so get genetically modified from the original African stock.
What gets me is people saying they are not racist but cannot understand the mental anguish and forced lack of education has reached them even today but racists could care less, bearing more than a touch of the problem.
I used to live in Escondido California, 40 ish miles north of San Diego.
I didn't find out till much later, ok for blacks and browns to work there but the unwritten rule, BE OUT OF TOWN BY 5 PM.
