@mott-the-hoople saidDon't believe science,
you fools keep thinking the vaccines prevent the spread of covid…a direct result of state run media
Iisten to MUTT.....

@jimm619 saidYou didn’t, you just prevaricated and dodged.
Thought I did....New variants
may be more transmittable
simply because;
There's no 'natural resistance''
and they (new virus) may ave defeated vaccine immunology.
How is this variant what the WHO already says it is, if it’s only been reported a week?
@contenchess saidOMG?
Maybe vaccination causes it to mutate.
It's trying to survive so maybe the vaccinated are causing the variants?
Has any scientific body looked into that?
I don't know but it is a theory 🤔
Words escape me.
Didn't you get your
GED when you were
locked up, FB?

@divegeester saidBecause maybe they have scientists who are plugged into a larger scientific community and the mutated virus, once identified and modeled suggests a problem for human physiology. I would argue that the scientific community are dealing with Covid on a rolling 24/7 basis, and have no doubt been spitballing the dangers that could arise if the virus started to mutate in a particular direction. While it may seem too rapid a determination for us, its much more likely that the WHO and the NIH and the CDC and the NIAIA have a fairly good idea of how the virus will track over time and probably have a strong sense of how a trend in mutation might make the virus more devastating.
For context; I am pro science, pro vaccine, pro masks and know people who have died of this bug.
But HOW does WHO know that this variant is what they are already claiming?
HOW?

@contenchess saidAm I annoying you, Fat Boy?
@jimm619
Vaccinated people still spread the virus meathead.
Why are you so dumb?
Go get drunk at the VFW and cry in the corner.
Your posts are getting annoying and dumb.
Don't be such a narrow minded, maroon.
I'll say this clearly so, even you,
can understand...
Only people with the virus can spread the virus.....
..........GOT IT SO FAR?
OK, so, if you are vaccinated, you are far less likely (95% effective)
to spread the disease.......CLEAR ENOUGH?

@divegeester saidDidn't mean to;
You didn’t, you just prevaricated and dodged.
How is this variant what the WHO already says it is, if it’s only been reported a week?
Could only guess that scientists
take a small sampling, and extrapolate
the data to the population at large.
Really don't know,I'm not a scientist,
I don't even play one on TV.
@divegeester saidJust another amateur gaming-chair epidemiologist here, but maybe if Omicron has 30 to 50 mutations and is easily transmissible, it won't necessarily kill us all, but it could sow the seeds among millions or billions of humans for many more mutations to come.
On SKY NEWS just now..
“The WHO has said it would have severe consequences for the world if it spreads”
“The risk is assessed as ‘very high’”
“The world is faced with a new highly transmissible variant of covid 19”
“Omicron is the most heavily mutated variant of covid-19…. but as it was only reported last week …”
So hold on a minute. If this variant was “only reported last week” why is WHO making all these claims about it?
Executive summary: We all gonna die!
@contenchess saidNOT TRUE,
Jimmy the idiot thinks vaccinated people don't spread the virus 🙄
