@no1marauder saidNo1: That "anybody" does not include governments at any level.
Call it a clarification of your post where you said:
Earl: Libertarians have no problem with gays getting married, and they do allow for anybody to deny that marriage.
That "anybody" does not include governments at any level.
Well of course. But it is technically an option.
Remember, if some cult or religion wishes that the government recognize their beliefs, the government has the right to say NO THANKS
@no1marauder saidyou are a complete idjut.
Earl: there is nothing that I espouse that veers from the Libertarian mantra of SMALLER GOVERNMENT.
Praising a guy who wanted to build a thousands of mile wall on our Southern border with taxpayer funds sure does.
" Economic freedom demands the unrestricted movement of human as well as financial capital across national borders."

Americans have the right to protect their sovereignty and force invading non-Americans to go through legal channels to enter the US
The constitution does not apply to non-Americans
Is this all you have to do all day?? I apologize to NO ONE if it is to be that I go against Libertarian theology on occasion.
@Earl-of-Trumps
Theology. So libertarianism is your religion. Tell me, how close is that religion to Trumpist religion?
@earl-of-trumps saidYes it does.
The constitution does not apply to non-Americans
The right to due process and equal protection under the law applies. They can't vote but civil rights protections in the constitution like unreasonable search and seizure, free speech, etc., apply to non-citizens.
@sonhouse saidnot quiet as bad as being up bidens ass
@Earl-of-Trumps

@earl-of-trumps saidA reasonable position perhaps, but certainly not a "smaller government" one. In fact, the US government spends an inordinate amount of tax money to restrict the economic freedom of migrants and would spend far more on the silly wall Trump wants to build.

@no1marauder saidlittle man syndrome kicking that ass today?

@vivify saidSo, are you saying the Nicaraguan immigrant has the same right to cross the US border into the US as an American citizen?
Yes it does.
The right to due process and equal protection under the law applies. They can't vote but civil rights protections in the constitution like unreasonable search and seizure, free speech, etc., apply to non-citizens.
They get what is GIVEN to them, not what is demanded by the constitution
@no1marauder saida WALL is not a branch of government.,

@earl-of-trumps saidLMAO!
a WALL is not a branch of government.,
Well, Mexico wasn't going to pay for it so Congress would have had to approve tens of billions of dollars to build it.
Not exactly "smaller government" is it?
@earl-of-trumps saidNo, your post seemed to imply that noncitizens have no constitutional rights whatsoever.
So, are you saying the Nicaraguan immigrant has the same right to cross the US border into the US as an American citizen?

For the record I agree our borders need to be tightened. No one should be able to get in unless allowed. That's just plain common sense. I simply reject the racist reasons of Republicans for doing so.

@mott-the-hoople saidYou mean like forcing women, sometimes
tyranny is when the govt forces things on people…exactly what you are wanting
conservatives want to let the people decide…you know, the democratic way
children, to have babies that they don't want?
