Basecly lots of greedy idiots thought the petrol tax was slightly to high so they went and campd out side the depos so that no fual could get out to the gas stations.
As the price increase affected lorry drivers the most, they were the first to complain, they dont earn huge amounts and calling them greedy for not wanting to earn less is not really fair...

the way telerion derided a song that was written to American servicemen and women during the 80s and basically calling anyone who holds such feelings "ignorant", "nationalistic zealots", and "propagandists" (at least that's the way I interpreted it) was insulting, at least to me. He has a right, though, to say this, and I will defend it to the best of my abilities...🙂
Deriding the song in my book is no big deal. I still think the song stinks, basically because I read into it a bit differently then you do. Please do not confuse a judgement of an idea or in this case a piece of music for a judgement about a person.
