Septicemia, ABO incompatibility and others.
Different blood types mean that the baby or mother can start making antibodies against the other, usually its the baby. The parasite inside you starts fighting you because it doesn't recognise the yummy yummy blood coming from the naval cord as a good thing.
Google it.

Using potential unhappiness as a reason is idiotic.
Why is it an idiotic reason? Heres the situation:
Two 15 year olds have a sexy time, she gets pregnant.
Solution: Abortion
Reason: Mom and dad wont be able to finish high school. They are forced to work, since having a kid is expensive. They get stressed out because they are having 0 spare time. Because they are stressed out the kid also gets neglected. Wich results in all 3 of them feeling unhappy. After which they all commit suicide.
I think (high) potential unhappiness of the kid and parents is a perfectly fine reason for having abortion. I think you are to much focussing on viability. The discussion was about abortion being wrong or not. Not at what age.
I would not use poverty as a reason. I think there are a lot more poor people happyer then the rich.
Originally posted by zozozozoI already addressed this. Potential unhappiness is a lame reason to allow choice. Either the fetus/child has rights (and all your unhappiness bla, bla is worthless) or it doesn't and it's irrelevant why the mother is aborting.

What made you think that my reason for aborting was a reason to allow abortion in all circumstances and ages of kids?
Originally posted by PalynkaI think the inablility for (potential) parents to take care, and raise thier kid in a decent way is one of the best reasons to get an abortion.
All I'm saying is that I think there are more consistent justifications for being pro-choice.
What are your more consistent justifications?
