@kazetnagorra saidAmazing....the segues. Amazing. Anyway, you foreigners continue to lean on our stuff. As long as we make Money!! (Did you check your pill manufacturer?)
The inefficient provision of health care services is not a requirement for research into improved medicine.
@AverageJoe1
Yeah, MY Valsartan is made in China and in fact there was a to do about that because quality control in China sucks and whole batches of that drug was contaminated with carcinogens which meant I had to go for near a month before uncontaminated Valsartan was available .

So tell me, which country invented and manufactures OPIODS?
@sonhouse saidI have no idea where that drug comes from, but again, you segue away from the issue, which is that our country provides an amazing amount of drugs and know-how to the world. You are welcome of course.

The USA (#1)has a market FOUR times bigger than Japan, its closest competitor. You guys and gals better stick with , as usual , leaning on the USA for staying alive. There is a long list of the top countries, but, I hate it, netherland, and denmark , and all the ice-skating Krumkake countries do not even make the list. 🙂
And Sonhouse, true to form, wants to segue into opioids. Just for the record, people in my world dont know what those are. But that is not the issue. You may never see the issue, because Kazet will not respond to this post.
Our pharmacies have reduced prices daily due to being overstocked!!!
@no1marauder saidThe Senate at that time had 60 Democrats, just enough to pass Obamacare. However after the bill passed the Senate, Democrat Senator Ted Kennedy died. In his place, Massachusetts elected Republican Scott Brown. That meant that if the House made any changes to the bill the Senate wouldn’t have the necessary number of votes to pass the amended bill (because they knew no Republicans would vote for Obamacare). So Senate Leader Harry Reid cut a deal with Pelosi: the House would pass the Senate bill without any changes if the Senate agreed to pass a separate bill by the House that made changes to the Senate version of Obamacare. This second bill was called the Reconciliation Act of 2010. So the House passed PPACA, the Senate bill, as well as their Reconciliation Act. At this point PPACA was ready for the President to sign, but the Senate still needed to pass the Reconciliation Act from the House.
whodey: but Democrats bypassed the Constitutional democratic process.
This is complete and utter BS. Where in the Constitution is wording which suggests a minority in the Senate can block ordinary legislation?

@kazetnagorra saidSee above, Kazet-the-segue-er, that Netherland, since it is not on any list for producing pharmaceuticals and medical innovation, must be relying heavily on the USA, maybe a tad from Japan, to keep you all healthy. You cannot be proud. I just hate it.
