I don't suppose for you matters little it was NATO who helped us after 9-11 when I spent 24 hours at Red Cross headquarters making sure there was communications with the real hero's on the streets, I am an expert in radio and other technologies.

MY POINT is there is not a huge bank account where everyone pays dues and NATO spends that money where needed.
The money spent is for EACH COUNTRIES MILITARY DEFENSE FUND and some countries are not as wealthy as others like Germany, so poor countries have problems putting in the 2% of their budget to military use. I think that is the number bandied about, nothing to you of course but you are not privy to the financial situation of all the NATO countries and neither was Trump nor did he give a rats ass, it is ONLY money to him, national security takes fourth place in his calculus.
