Well yeah because your looking at neutral stats and rejecting any explanation other than the one you seem to favour.
There could be a myriad of reasons for high infection low fatality figures, possibly a combination of several factors including bad stats gathering.

It effectively IS the Trump virus RIGHT NOW since it is the lack of leadership sorely needed at the federal level MONTHS ago that should have happened and would have happened to any other POTUS but Trump. Even Bush Jr would have done better, as dumb as he was when Chaney was the real POTUS.
Trump SAID we are not the dispensary to the states or words to that effect, so put it on the states to do what they could to stop it.
Didn't work out very well did it?
He could have used emergency powers acts MONTHS ago to force companies to make PPE but he didn't, another example of ZERO leadership and ZERO giving a crap about the American people.
Why you can't see that is beyond me.
