Did you use the word ‘couple’? There is a culture that promotes single parent homes. Not couples. Those homes make it difficult for kids to advance, to keep up, to learn, to get rich.
You think GOP has something to do with that?
When people are struggling, why not endeavor to help them, instead of driving them further down? It is true that you consider success as a zero-sum game? For every of of "them" that climb out of the pit you put them in, you all fear that that must mean they're trying to trade places with one of you?

You know, and seriously, ,it is our belief the Dems are 'holding back' those folks, making a society of dependence for them, they will own them, in the way they will own the 120 difference cultures that are flooding the southern border right now. This is the 'plantation' that we are deriding all the time.
