===“If you expose frogs to atrazine, male frogs, it changes their sex and they can actually bear young. They can lay eggs, fertile eggs,” Kennedy said in the June 2022 episode of his podcast.

“And so the capacity for these chemicals that we are just raining down on our children right now to induce these very profound sexual changes in them is something we need to be thinking ...[text shortened]... hey can cause sexual changes in frogs, it might be a good idea to stay away from them, is not crazy.
The underlying point is fundamentally flawed.

All chemicals cause some kind of toxicity at some dose. We're ok with mercury and arsenic in our drinking water because it's too dilute to cause meaningful harm.

A DHHS director should know this. Fluoride in drinking water protects teeth from rotting but has no effect on the nervous system unless you crank up the dose.

This concept is extremely fundamental and important. The farming industry puts 85 million pounds of atrazine in our environment every year, but it's quite dilute and harmless by the time it reaches children. You cannot use data generated from an amphibian with skin that literally soaks up water all the time bathed in a concentration of atrazine orders of magnitude higher than human exposures to make conclusions about human behavior. Silly.

I nominate wildgrass for the position of DHHS secretary.

@wildgrass

There was an investigation into whether the Department of Defense experimented with weaponized ticks decades ago and if it affected the spread of Lyme disease across the country

https://thehill.com/blogs/blog-briefing-room/news/453424-house-calls-for-investigation-into-whether-pentagon-tried-to/

https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/weaponized-ticks/

What were the findings of that investigation?

You are prone to rejecting facts because of incredulity alone. Flouride causes lower IQ in children. Conspiracy theorists have been saying it for years, but it was true. Pretty sad when history proves guys like Alex Jones right about something people scoffed at for years.

The FDA kept red dye #3 in your food knowing fully well it causes cancer in lab rodents. But keep on calling Bobby a conspiracy theorist for saying you are being poisoned. It just happens to be true.

I get the incredulity knee jerk reaction all of the time. The Rockefeller Foundation funded infertility vaccines and I still get posts saying it is not true, The Rockefeller Foundation admitted they funded it. Can I help it that the truth is stranger than fiction?

Here is a suggestion. Open your mind. Just because something sounds too incredible to be true doesn't make it untrue. Bobby Kennedy gave you an overdose of the truth and you couldn't handle it. The truth is like that sometimes. Just take a little at a time so you can deal with it rationally.

I missed the scientifc source you intented to give here....

@Ponderable
Just in case you were asking about the vaccines here are some links from government.

Anti-fertility vaccines

Tetanus vaccine may be laced with anti-fertility drug. International / developing countries

But blame PFAS for the lower sperm count. Anything else is a conspiracy theory, right?

How it's going...

BENNET: Did you say Lyme disease is a highly likely militarily engineered bioweapon?

RFK Jr: I probably did say that

BENNET: Did you say that exposure to pesticides causes children to become transgender

RFK Jr: No

BENNET: I have the record.

Yiiiiiikes!

https://bsky.app/profile/atrupar.com/post/3lgvdna7zwj2d
Bobby probably said frogs. Endocrine disrupting toxic chemicals have been found to feminize male frogs and cause homosexual behavior.
Naturally this leads people to ask how that pesticide affects people. I am sure Bobby posited the question so some idiots jump to the conclusion that he said it makes people transgender. But if people hear a lie repeated enough they will believe it, so the truth gets lost in the gossip. That is why you thought Bobby was a nutjob. You heard it repeated a lot, didn't you?

I am reminded of the famous statement by Nazi propaganda minister Joseph Goebbels that if you repeat a lie often enough it becomes the truth. I am just trying to deprogram you.

Is it true "there's a lot of other evidence that it's doing that to human beings as well."?

Eh, no.

Good post.

Are you starting to see how the people who talk crap about Kennedy are the real crazy people? They can't handle the truth so they slander him. They slander the very person that is trying to help them. He wants to remove the poison from your food.

I do not think it is a coincidence that red dye #3 was banned by the FDA right before Trump took office. It was like the oligarchs said to each other "we had better take this carcinogen out of the food before Kennedy becomes a hero by bringing it up in his confirmation hearing".

No, Kennedy is wrong enough at it is, though not as crazy as some are trying to paint him.

His opposition to childhood vaccinations over multiple decades is well chronicled.

I don't think he's a driveling lunatic like some others do, and I like some of his ideas (like emphasizing the importance of diet and exercise) but I'm also very much opposed to his confirmation at HHS.

Think he'll withdraw or be defeated?

Trump owes him, so he's pretty sure to get some cushy government job just maybe not one which requires Senate confirmation.
