@mchill saidThere is no meat in this post. After removing ad hominem references to me, it is just basic knowledge.
You have no idea how completely wrong you are, do you?
Warren Buffett makes his money by reading 5-6 hours a day and doing deep analysis on the companies he invests in. He donates a great deal of his wealth to charity. In addition, it might interest you to know that the framers of our constitution did not design our nation to operate the same as a for profit company - they ...[text shortened]... exam, you might want to look into this.
Must discipline myself to stay off this debate forum. 🙄

@averagejoe1 saidHellO? Marauder? What about the missing $20, and, what does everyone mean with the $5B that it will cost, the $5B even you refer to as not being that much money?
Still Clinton Speak. OK, so tell us what is meant by the millions of news reports that the forgiveness program will cost our country $500 billion?
Can you please just answer the simple question, no links, just your explanation.? I am being fair here, do not like to pick fights, I would rather discuss issues. The worst are people that take all of this personally, I th ...[text shortened]... iZahlanzi is never too happy personally with me, when it all has nothing to do with me personally.
Marauder? Don't tell me you are gonna give me this one too. Hell, we haven't gotten the Hunter issue boiling yet!

@averagejoe1 saidJesus Christ, just because you waste the majority of your life on this board doesn't mean some of us don't have better things to do on a Friday night than re-explain something we have already covered multiple times here.

The effect of Biden's partial student loan forgiveness plan will be similar to a targeted tax cut for the working and middle class. You continue to be wrong when you say money is being paid for it; the government is eschewing some future revenue, but it is not paying out an additional dime.
@averagejoe1 saidMake the tax returns of billionaires public so we can see how they are taking advantage of tax loopholes. Also make all politician's tax returns public so we know if they have conflicts of interest.
He should not be allowed to have that much money anyway. He made it while asleep, on the backs of others. Let's get some poster boards on sticks and head to the streets.

I've often wondered where we would do bathroom business, though. Any thoughts?
@no1marauder saidPlainly put, the govt loaned out '$X00', and the people in charge of the govt balance sheet made entries of the accounts receivable (the amounts debtors pay back), which amounts would have replenished that which was loaned out.

The fact here that you are equating the loan forgiveness to a tax cut is fraught with error, as such cut does Not Cover Every Person In the Working And Middle Class.
And, why have we been told by all bureaus that it will cost us $500B?? Geez. Give it up.
@metal-brain saidBut, to avoid discrimination, the returns of every citizen would have to be made public. I've never seen your nazi side before.

@averagejoe1 saidNot every citizen has power to make policies that benefit their own interests. Politicians do.

@averagejoe1 saidMany tax cuts don't cover "every person", so that objection is nonsense.

I've explained it as much as I'm going to; if you are too thick to understand my explanation, that's your problem.
@metal-brain saidYou are halfway right, certainly politicians should show they are honest. As to billionaires, there are IRS audits in place to watch their shenanigans.
Not every citizen has power to make policies that benefit their own interests. Politicians do.
Ha, this begs the question........how about the returns of Wall Street brokers, influencing our monetary system and feeding on inside info? And then, what would be next. Creepy stuff.
Nirvana would be everyone all have same income, net worth, number of cars, number of drs, same college degrees......everyone the same. Then we wouldn't have to regulate!
@averagejoe1 saidGoing after billionaires is too expensive. They can afford the best lawyers. It is easier to target the poor. They cannot afford high price lawyers.

@no1marauder saidYou have certainly not. All news of the day, all of it, deals with the amount of money it will ‘cost’ I think $500B. Yet you say it does not cost. They think it does, apparently. Could you square that up so I won’t have to do a thread just on that one subject?

Why do liberals not answer questions? I asked Sonhouse on his “Far Right Rename Forum” thread yesterday to tell us conservatives what we have said to warrant such a comment. He, and you, never answer.
Clinton Speak: “Why Joe, it depends on the def of cost”.
@no1marauder saidPretty funny, given that 50% don’t even PAY taxes.
